How Northlane Web Studio works

Who we build for

Cleaning companies, landscapers, contractors, HVAC, plumbers, roofers, electricians, dental clinics and other local service businesses. If customers find you on their phone and decide in a minute, we build for you.

How a project runs

1. You send the basics. Your business name, your city and your email. Add your current website if you have one. It takes less than a minute and commits you to nothing.
2. We build your mock. A real website of your business, not a sketch. We email you the link within 24 to 48 hours.
3. You decide. Want changes first? Tell us and we make them. Not for you? No hard feelings.
4. You pay and send the details. You pay by link: $899 for Starter or $1,499 for Pro. Then you send your services, photos and areas, and we do the rest.
5. You go live. The site goes live on your own domain. The $97 monthly plan starts that day, with new articles that same month.

What every website includes

Starter, $899 once:

• Home and services page
• About page that says who you are
• Contact page with a quote form
• Built for phones
• Quote calculator set to your prices

Pro, $1,499 once: everything in Starter, plus a page for each service you offer and up to 5 city pages.

What the $97 a month covers

• Hosting. We keep your site online.
• Security updates, kept current for you.
• 8 rounds of changes a month, by email. One round is one email with your list of changes: send everything you want changed in one email and we make it all.
• At least 8 new articles a month (at least 15 on Pro), written about your work and your area. Yours to keep.

What you own

Your content is yours: the text of every page, every article we write for you and every photo you gave us. Ask for an export at any time, including after you leave, at no charge.

Your domain is yours. If it was already yours, we never take control of it. If we registered one for you, we transfer it to your own account free whenever you ask.

The site itself runs on our setup, so moving it to another host is a rebuild rather than a file transfer.

What we do not do

We do not run paid ads, manage social media, design logos, build online stores or answer your leads for you. If you need one of those, we are the wrong people, and we would rather say so before you pay.

No contract

The monthly plan has no contract, no minimum term, no notice period and no cancellation fee. Send one email and it stops at the end of the billing month you are in. The details are on our cancellation page.
